Comfort is nice brilliant, even.
So many might wonder: why would anyone ever leave it?
The comfort zone, where everything is facilitated and taken care of… if you have it, why not stay in it, right?
Some of you might judge me and say, “What do you know? You’re privileged enough to choose.”
And you’d be right having the ability to choose is the greatest privilege of all.
It exists for everyone, but in different realms, layers, and intensities. And it all begins with our ability to think to truly look at things.
You can stare at a rock and see just a rock.
Or you can wonder how it was shaped, how its journey led to this exact moment where it meets your gaze.
Maybe it was once a mountain, a cave, and travelled across miles to end up here.
Or maybe you’ll choose not to look at it at all.
Leaving the comfort zone starts in the mind. It’s the choice to invest time in discovering, seeking, and eventually becoming one with the universe understanding, observing, enjoying.
It’s exhausting. It’s inconvenient. And it’s anything but easy.
But for me, it’s a life worth living.
Because I refuse to simply pass by a rock… without appreciating it.
