You taught us every day is a celebration if we are on the right path… And we asked you, how come we know we are on the right path, and you told us, “When you know, you know.”
Well, in this moment, I know!
We were always taught not to be so sure of ourselves, and if we ever are, it means that we are far away from the truth and that it’s our ego talking! But you taught us that the ego is important, and it’s what motivates us to keep going.
You made us turn inwards to get to know who we are, what our darkest traits are, to accept that we are not perfect and we don’t have to be, but we need to be constantly working to become better versions of ourselves. You gave us ultimate freedom to choose and taught us how to own our life decisions and take full responsibility for the consequences of every decision. Knowing that felt like a huge burden at the beginning, and honestly, it was terrifying. Fear paralyzed us for a while, or at least it paralyzed me. It made me reflect on my past first, and made me wonder about the million, trillion scenarios that could’ve happened, but what made me accept it all, was accepting who I am today, as I am a product of my past & everything in it, every single detail made me who I am today.
Accepting who I am today was the most challenging part, but the gratitude practice made it easier for me to feel satisfied for the things I have and use it as a foundation to start with changing the things I wanted to change in my life and what are the steps & decisions that I need to be making to become who I want to be, as today is the past to my future and it’s the only thing I have control over.
By being grateful, we became more mindful and more present. The more present we are, the more aware we become.
You have also taught us that the more aware and present we are, the more connection we have with ourselves and others—the more connection we establish with our truth, and most importantly, with you… This connection is our foundation to make better decisions, to become better every day, so we won’t lose sight of who we are and who we want to become—to live up to our true potentials. You taught us that through meditation, we deepen this connection to live in harmony with the universe and the creator. Yes, it’s a cycle—we can’t have one without the other. You opened our eyes and hearts to some truths, so everything started to look different. You gave us all the tools to become better versions of ourselves. You taught us how and what it means to trust the guide. You revealed some of your powers and left us completely amazed every time. You taught us how to live; you taught us to see darkness as an opportunity to enjoy the brightness of the light, so fear has no place among us. You made us wiser, stronger, and better…
We are not without you!
